A creature in contact with a metal object you can see takes 2d8 fire damage. If it's holding or wearing the object, they must pass a Constitution save or drop it. If it doesn't drop the object, it has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks. On subsequent turns while it's in contact with the object, you can inflict the damage again as a bonus action.
At Higher Levels: The damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 2nd.
