For the duration, tentacles fill a 40-foot square on the ground that you can see and turn it into difficult terrain.
When a creature enters the area for the first time or starts its turn there, it must pass a Strength or Dexterity save (Players choice) or take 10d6 radiant damage and be restrained until the spell ends. If it's already restrained by the tentacles, it automatically takes 10d6 poison damage.
The restrained creature can use its action to make an Stealth or History check of the dm's choice. On a success, it's freed but there is no escaping Cthulhu.
