The Dark Meteor[]
Setup: The PCs are hired by a sage known as Seryd Alsir who is particularly interested in meteors and and astrology to retrieve a meteor that recently fell in the Skyfang mountain range. After weeks of travel the PCs have arrived at the Skyfang Mountains and have found a small town known as Reidus (Broken Fang in dwarf) next to where the meteor should have landed. Unfortunately the townsfolk seem hostile and the map they have only gives a rough impression of the meteor's landing place, leaving a three mile area to find it in.
Reidus[]
The town of Reidus is a small dwarven town left behind when the adamantine ore in the mountain dried up and took the miners with it. The townsfolk are obviously ill at ease with outsiders and have a starting attitude of unfriendly and the one shop the town has a gold limit of 100 gp and charges 50% above PH prices unless the PCs can raise the shopkeepers attitude to friendly (if his attitude falls to hostile he kicks them out).
